The sauna tent “Totonoi” has been available for pre-sale on the Japanese crowdfunding site “Makuake” since July 22, 2021, and is gaining popularity with sales exceeding 13 million yen. The special feature of Totonoi is that it uses silica gel cloth, a highly fire-resistant, heat-insulating, and moisture-proof material for the inside of the tent, to keep the price low. Japanese people have the habit of taking a bath every day, and saunas are also popular; there have been a number of sauna tents launched on Makuake.
