PARCO Ltd., which operates fashion building brands in 18 locations throughout Japan, has attracted and opened six stores as an outdoor zone on the 5th floor of its flagship store, Shibuya PARCO. The brands that have opened include camping gear brands such as NORDISK, OGAWA, and POLER, fashion brands RED WING and L.L. BEAN, and Arradin, which sells oil and gas stoves popular among campers, will also be open for a limited time. In response to the growing popularity of camping in Japan, an increasing number of large electronics stores and shopping malls are selling outdoor equipment.
