Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) announced the results of the 2020 Good Design Awards on October 1, 2020. Outdoor products also received awards, but one of them is an unusual tent. The Hobos Nest 2 tent is unique in that two of its three poles do not touch the ground. It is also a double-walled tent, but the fact that the inner tent and the fly are connected makes it easy to pitch. It was designed for sea kayaking expeditions, but it would be suitable for motorcyclists and climbers as well.
